The Property
Luxuriously low key, Il Borgo is comprised of 25 suites created from six meticulously restored farm buildings and decorated in traditional Tuscan style. All have private balconies or terraces, fireplaces and contemporary conveniences like satellite television, fully equipped kitchens and Internet connections. Located on the grounds of a 17th century country estate in Montagnana, Il Borgo overlooks rolling hills with endless rows of vines, olive groves and distant castles. (A nominal fee and registration at least 30 days in advance are required for all instructional courses. Each class has no more than 8 students in order to encourage participation and provide opportunities to personally interact with the instructor. Faculty comes from the Tuscan Community and is well-versed in their region’s history and traditions.)
